2022 SEASON GUIDELINES

Brookings Harbor Little League will be following the guidelines set forth by the CDC, Oregon Health Authority, Curry County Public Health and Little League International regarding outdoor sporting events for the 2022 season.

We encourage all players to have their own baseball equipment, gloves, batter's helmets, bats and catcher's gear for safety and sanitation.

Players, coaches and spectators are asked to make every effort to maintain six-foot social distancing.  If social distancing cannot be maintained spectators should wear a face covering.  Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs and sit with members of their household maintaining social distancing with other households.

Players and coaches are not required to wear facial coverings when on the field of play but should wear one in the dugout if social distancing cannot be maintained.  There is hand sanitizer in the dugouts.

Players, managers/coaches, and umpires should bring their own personal drinks to all team activities.  Drinks should be labeled with the person’s name.  Sunflower seeds should not be allowed in dugouts or on the playing field.

Any shared equipment is to be routinely sanitized by coaches/players.

Do not attend a BHLL activity or event if you:

  • are not feeling well
  • are showing symptoms of COVID-19
  • are required to self-isolate/quarantine
  • have been in contact with someone who has recently started showing symptoms of or tested positive for COVID-19

This requirement applies to all players, spectators and volunteers.
